The Brazilian star Extends Apology to The Madrid Club Supporters
The attacker has registered five strikes in 10 domestic competition outings so far this term.
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to supporters for his response when substituted in the recent intense Clasico clash win.
He was replaced in the 72nd min and showed his frustration by going straight to the dressing room.
Vinicius subsequently came back to the bench and, after his team's 2-1 victory, sought to engage Barcelona's youngster Yamal during contentious final whistle incidents.
"Now I want to apologise to all the supporters for my response when I was taken off in the Clasico," Vinicius posted on his account.
"Just as I have said in person during the latest training, I wish to express regret anew to my colleagues, the club, and the president.
"Sometimes passion gets the better of me because I constantly desire to triumph and help my club. My winning mentality comes from the love I have for this team and everything it represents."
He joined Real from his former club in the year 2018 for millions and has accumulated 111 goals in 335 appearances.
But his prospects in the La Liga is uncertain with speculation in recent months indicating that Los Blancos would consider letting the young star leave if they obtained a suitable offer.
When the winger was taken off on Sunday, TV coverage from coverage provider Dazn captured him remarking: "Always me! I'm exiting the club! It's preferable if I leave, I'm leaving."
In his most recent post on X, he stated: "I commit to keep striving constantly for the good of Los Blancos, as I have acted since the initial arrival."
