According to recent statistics, the count of centenarians in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

Between 2004 and 2024, the number of male centenarians has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. During the same period, the count of women aged 100 or over nearly doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.

We are keen to hear from those aged 100 or over, their relatives or friends, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s seismic events and changes.
